Meeting Purpose

This meeting will bring together, stakeholders - actual and potential - in the Philippines minerals industry including those from overseas, in an informed dialogue that will:

• Explain the new supportive policy of the Government of the Philippines towards the development of a world-class minerals industry for this country;
• Provide an opportunity for dialogue between the private sector and government on the infrastructure needed to ensure security and profitability of investments made;
• Engage local mining interests with potential investors and developers in "business matching" to explore opportunities;
• Highlight successful projects through a series of case studies;

The conference will meet in both plenary sessions and in workshops devoted to specific sector interests.
